Warning: This is regarding to the current issue of Dongwan’s delay for enlistment calling. This is a personal comment. Each content is not deliberately intended to cause any hard feelings whatsoever to anyone anywhere. Therefore I apologize in advance.

i respect Dongwan’s decision anyway it is. perhaps he’s got strong reasons why he can’t leave for a 2 and a half year break… however, what if he didn’t have a sound reason? (I stress here, What IF)

i’ve read in various forums about some people’s reaction to him being called in for boot camp… saying stuff like ‘Shinhwa won’t be the same anymore’ and etc. bah.. in my opinion, i strongly feel that Dongwan should go enlist now. Why?

It’s only army camp, right? it’s not as if Shinhwa is disbanding. isn’t it ridiculous that fans would fall out over a simple matter? There are entertainers who’ve had great comebacks; eg: Kwon Sang Woo.

For Shinhwa Fans - Something We Should Take to Heart.

i’d like to correct that common judgement. c’mon lah, if every Shinhwa fan think like that (that an absence of a member) mean that Shinhwa will lose popularity so soon, for example 3 years... (They’ve been in showbiz for >7)… buck up. Consider this.

Stars are human too.

we’re here to support THEM, our idols. they have their own lives. why should they jeopardize their future to appease people like the described above?

6 – 1 = 5. it’s not like it’s gonna be 6 – 6..

i’m sorry to say, that by losing fans that way… only proves who is more loyal to their idols. unless of course fans left for a different reason other than this. but i’m not here to discuss that.

Yes, there’ll be other new groups growing like mushrooms. and yes, people do move on (to other groups). i know Entertainment Industries (Korean or otherwise) have always been this way and thrives on it. like i said, i have no comment on that.

let’s look at it this way. i’ll throw in a Pro vs Con list:

The possible effects of Shinhwa MINUS a member (Dongwan) for < @ = 3 years.

Cons:

1. fans lessen due to lack of.. eyecandy? OR due to _________ (fill in blank)

2. shinhwa music value might deteriorate; loss of vocal prowess + drop in album sales (that’s 3 jibs worth of revenue)

3. shinhwa music style might change; people may not prefer a different style (aka a ‘different Shinhwa’)

4. in Dongwan’s case: no drama, no cash flow

Pros:

1. shinhwa gain fans + REgain fans (admit it, how many % of fans leaving? And Shinhwa has HOW many fans??) <--- It’s not gonna make a huge difference.

2. music style might change; it’s called improvisation + UP in album sales

3. in Dongwan’s case: his acting/singing/misc could improve…

4. (last but not least) he’ll be more relaxed: duty’s done. he’s got all the time on his hands to DIVE himself into work. his career will be smooth sailing after that! imagine no hassles of further delaying and delaying and delaying (which would turn into a court case)…

don’t know if i got all that covered. anybody up to adding more Pro @ Con? care to add a Pro vs Con list if he DOESN’T go for camp as yet?

people judge things in their own way. don’t incriminate me for something i believe in. this is only an opinion.

berita lain: hmm, i'll be going for my faculty's Annual Dinner. it's entitled 'A Night to Remember', slated for next Tuesday evening. <_< aku pergi ni pun sebab farah telah berjaya memujuk aku. yea, coz it's our final year and all.. blablabla. i'm only going since she asked me to . hoh.

ngg aku dh gemuk >_<! darn it, i wish i could return to my good old matriculation days. 3 years back, i was sooo kurus !! i had initially lost weight during my temp-job (after spm) then lost more fat when i was in Kolej Matrikulasi Pulau Pinang. it was SHEER HEAVEN to actually manage fitting into almost any size of pants ! huuuu but now.. i've reverted into my usual fatso self. ho hum XP

anyway, Aidiladha was nice. got a few Raya texts from my frens. thanks for remembering me you guyz!!

on Friday, my family and i went to my aunt's kampung in Meru , Klang. we always go there on the 1st Day of Raya, even after my mom passed away. pastu, since Saturday was a working day, but we went to my cousin's open house in Kota Kemuning, Klang. waaaa terliur tengok rumah2 besar kat sana. kambing bakar pun tak layan. on Sunday no one came over to our house. (bagus.. bagus.. dapat aku tido sepanjang hari) XDDD~

i. will. not. eat. sup. tulang. anymore (er, not NEVER, cuma bukan dalam masa terdekat maa) heheh... hyper tension akibatnya kalau makan banyak sangat red meat. uih, tapi sedap tak terkata, takleh nak elak from eating it.

well, on Monday i received a call from Farah inviting me to hang out together since J-La (Jalila; the girl we met in KLCC lately) was about to fly out to Indonesia the next day. aku pun tengah tension hari isnin tu.. so pergi lah aku ke Midvalley Megamall pada pukul 4:00 ptg, naik bas 53.. truthfully, dah lama aku tak naik bas Intrakota nih, rindu beb! wakaka.

i met up with farah, erenah and j-la dekat MPH (after a 1/2 hour of browsing the whole shop sorang-sorang ). maka lepas itu, pegi makan di Yoshinoya. yum, sedap2! i had Salmon Don (nasi dengan salmon goreng) with miso soup and green tea. ini lah, bila keluar dgn diorang ni, mesti makan japanese or korean =DDD

25th January 2005: the Prince of Philly has returned..!

my family and i pegi jemput my dad's younger brother, Pak Uda (yg menetap di Philadelphia, US) from KLIA arini. he was on a business trip to Maui , jadi sekarang ni dia datang melawat Malaysia alone. dah lama pakcik aku ni tak balik, the last time was in 1997. ekeke.. Pak Uda takde rupa Melayu langsung, sejibik sejibon cam mat salleh gak. melilau jugak aa mencari dia di antara mat salleh2 yang baru sampai. haha

since he's staying at the Putrajaya Marriott Hotel, kami hantar dia ke sana. alahai.. area UPM je hotel ni, belakang pintu ke-2 ! cun gak la Marriott yang ni, kalu size memang Putrajaya menang. tapi kalu nak kata, 5 star hotel.. aku rasa Marriott Starhill (KL) lagi best.

o-kaaaay back to earth! Pak Uda will be staying until next Monday, as he wants to spend time jumpa his siblings. aww.. so sweet. < which means weekend ni rumah aku akan happening GILER>

wah, best nye kelas 2 hari je!!!!!!!!!

gosh i'm sorry for the looong overdue. i just got a tight reality slap from my friends for not updating my blog .

just got back from campus, 'dropped by' KLCC on the way home. saje pegi jalan-jalan dengan erenah n farah. we met farah's friend, Zalila <Hi Zally, nice to meet u>, whom is also a Shinhwa freak. and also a Dongwan fan =P. talked over lunch, where we had ramen at Ichiban Ramen.

wow, for a first-timer, miso ramen is quite nice. it needs a little getting used to.. but still it was yummy! i see now why some of my friends takleh nak terima rasa miso . mine was Sapporo Miso Ramen which is actually mi dalam sup miso campur jagung.

anyhoo, balik tu aku beli Roti Boy coz tak ramai orang tengah beratur (masyaAllah.. kalu ramai tu!!). bila dalam lrt, bau harum semerbak. rasa nak pengsan kuat gile bau Roti Boy nih kekeke. all in all, ini sebenarnye kali pertama aku try benda alah ni. selama ni aku dok kutuk pasal orang selalu beratur panjang2.. so i went ahead and tried it.

ok gak. it's definitely less sweeter, less oily, and less pungent than it's other counterpart - the Mexican Bun. HOWEVER, i prefer the latter. why? coz i just love greasy stuff.. hehhe.

*sigh* arini dah Hari Raya Korban. jangan sakan sangat beraya tue. bagi yang tak menyambut di kampung.. ceria-cerialah selalu. i wish u guys a

whazzzuuppppp~! hehehe i've been missing for a long time huh?

gomen, gomen! been too wrapped up with classes, haven't gotten time to blog.. and my faculty's network has not been itself last week. [nothing delicious enough has happened to me these past few days, that's why] so there.

therefore here i am, up to my no-good-self again, downloading my weekly share of KPop and stuff. i just bought a new box of CD-R(s) yesterday.. kekeke! lagipun, i have an obligation to upload fresh tidbits here.. if not takde orang nak datang site aku ni nanti. < betul tak farah?? heehee>

aku dah bosan dengan Multiply, MySpace and Hi5.. friendster jugak best. kat friendster kurang sket weirdos. hmm sekarang ni tinggal xanga ni aje tukang pendengar bebelan ku.. Hidop XANGA!!

mari kita mempergunakan hak pelajar kita! yahoo!! i'm in my faculty's java lab.. lagi 20 minit ada klas. (do mind the grammatical errors.. i'm typing extremely fast now) sempat lagi nih... nak menceritakan kisah sedih dan best during my weekend (that's semalam!)

on saturday i sent my cpu + monitor to a service-centre in Old Town. my comp's gone absolutely nutters for the past ferw weeks: when i touch the computer screen, i got jolts of electricity shock! erenah la yang informed me. selama ni aku tak sedar pun? @_@

so, the chinaman said he'd haf to detain my comp to check on the problem. uu dia tahan seminggu... i miss my sayangs oredi!! all my Se7en pictures and videos... and kpop mp3s!!!

OKAY OKAY.. i'm slightly nuttie now, forgive me.

yesterday noght i followed my dad to a wedding reception of the daughter to his old friend. in JW MARRIOTT. ooOOOoOOO hehe jakuns betul2 masa sampai tu...

okeh aa nanti aku sambung balik. nak kena jalan kaki gi kelas nie! ciao~

orait.. i'm back. ok berbalik ke cerita ku:

masa mula2 sampai tu, i was so enamoured with the jaw dropping interior and ambiance. tapi cover-cover la kan di depan sumer dato-dato, datin-datin, toh puan(s) and tan sri(s). *yummy* the food was predictably delicious. here's the 3-course menu:-

-- soto ayam (starter)
--nasi putih, ikan masam manis, daging kurma, kari ayam, sambal udang, sayur campur, pajeri nanas
--nasi minyak
--cream caramel
-- lastly, tea @ coffee

sambil makan tu aku cuba-cuba panjangkan leher menengok kat mana Tiara Jacquelina duduk. huuu tak nampak pun takpe aa... at least (i think) i saw Radhi OAG. sempoi like him. ntah le. kekeke
